Creating a frame in Photoshop

In photoshop, create a New File (00:06)

Make sure the file size is big enough for the product you are designing for

Drag in the shape you want to create a mask with. To learn how to create shapes check out this tutorial (00:22)

Create a New Fill Layer and select Solid Colour (00:35)

Set the colour to match the base colour of the product you are designing for. The specific HEX codes for our products can be found here

Hide the colour layer (00:49)

Select the shape layer (00:51)

Select the Magic Wand tool (00:52)

Select the interior of the shape (00:55)

Now hide the shape layer and show the colour layer (00:58)

Select the mask for the colour layer (01:02)

Go to Edit and Fill (01:05)

Select Black and press OK (01:08)

Deselect the selection

Export the image as a PNG

You can now use this to create your new products
