Sign in to Meta Business Settings.
Select the correct Business Portfolio.
Open Brand safety and suitability.
Select Domains.
Click Add or Add a domain.
Enter your root domain only:
example.comDo not include https://, www or a page path. Verifying the root domain covers its subdomains.
Select the domain you added.
Choose DNS TXT record as the verification method.
Copy the value provided by Meta. It will look similar to:
facebook-domain-verification=abc123xyz456Sign in to the service that manages your DNS. This might be your domain registrar, hosting company or another DNS provider such as Cloudflare.
Open its DNS management area and create this record:
Type: TXT
Name: @
Value: facebook-domain-verification=abc123xyz456
TTL: Default or AutomaticImportant:
Copy Meta’s value exactly.
If the provider doesn’t accept @, leave the Name/Host field blank.
Some providers require your root domain as the host instead.
Don’t delete existing TXT records such as SPF or DKIM.
Don’t create a CNAME record—the verification record must be TXT.
